Mustapha Alouani

My Background
As an engineer with degrees from INSA Rennes and Télécom Paris, I have dedicated over twenty years of my career to driving digital transformation in the higher education and research sector. I currently serve as the Director of Information Systems (CIO) at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.
My work is driven by a human-centric vision of technology, where digital tools must serve pedagogy and research. I have a keen interest in the practical applications of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to enrich the learning experience and enhance teaching practices.
This website and the accompanying book are a reflection of that commitment: to make AI more accessible, understandable, and relevant for everyone in the educational community—teachers, students, and administrators alike.
